After his formal Endocrine training in 1998, at the Thomas Jefferson University Hospital in Philadelphia, Dr. Farooqi joined the Joslin Diabetes Center Affiliate in Florida. He is now the Medical Director of the Joslin Diabetes Center Affiliate at Dubai Health Authority. He has extensive experience in all aspects of Diabetes management.

BRUNO BLANCHON, MD
Director of Clinical Affairs
Dr Bruno Blanchon qualified from medical school in the UK. He did Internal Medicine residency in Upstate New York and Endocrinology fellowship in Louisiana where he was a recipient of the Pfizer Scholars in Endocrinology Grant Program. He has worked as a consultant endocrinologist and the Joslin Diabetes Center affiliate in Bahrain and consultant physician at the Bahrain Petrol Company Hospital. He is American Board certified in Internal Medicine and Endocrinology. He is currently director of clinical affairs at the Joslin Diabetes Center affiliate at Dubai Health Authority.

AHMED AL JEBAWI, MD, FACP, FACE
Director of the Diabetes Fellowship Training Program
Dr. Al-Jebawi is the Director of the Diabetes Fellowship Training Program at the Joslin Diabetes Center Affiliate at Dubai Health Authority. He is a Clinical Assistant Professor at Indiana University School of Medicine, Indiana, USA. He was the Medical Director of Johnson Memorial Hospital Diabetes Center in Indiana for 10 years and is a Fellow of the American College of Physicians and the American College of Endocrinology. He is American board certified in Internal Medicine and Endocrinology.

AHMED HASSOUN, MD, FACE
Director of Education & Research
After completing an extensive clinical and research fellowship in Endocrinology, Diabetes & Metabolism at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota, Dr. Hassoun joined the Endocrinology Staff at Mayo. He is American Board certified in Internal Medicine (1993) & Endocrinology, Diabetes, and Metabolism (1995). Subsequently, he was awarded fellowships from the American College of Physicians and American College of Endocrinology. He is also an active member of the American Diabetes Association, American Association of Clinical Endocrinologists, & Endocrine Society. In the past decade, his appointments include Chief of Endocrinology, Emirates Diabetes Society Board member, and National Diabetes Control Committee member. He recently joined Joslin Diabetes Center in Dubai as a Consultant/Director of Education & Research.
